I'M IN LOVE!

THE ROLAND GW-7 WORKSTATION :)

went out w/ kaiwen, herman, reuben, daniel (& later ezra) to eat fattening food + go to tecman + look @ keyboards @ sweelee today! & i fell in love. saw this gorgeous work of art @ sweelee selling for $1605, but they're having a 40% off sale for roland keyboards now so it's only ~$956! Sadly i still can't afford it :/ plus it doesn't have inbuilt speakers so i'll either need to buy headphones or an amp so that's another ~$150, sigh. & if i'm not wrong it doesn't come with a stand, so that's another $100 or so.

shall wait til end of the year when i've saved enough & sweelee has another sale! it's amazingly pretty larh. 61 keys, 64 voices polyphony max (!), 606+ tones, 51+ drumsets, 110+ drumrhythms, 3 bands (full band, drums + bass, combo), 47 types of Fx, 8 types of chorus, it's SO MUCH LOVE. best thing is, it's quite similar to e church one. and it's a ROLAND.

8 more months til end of year & sweelee's Christmas sale! apparently, they have 50% sales then so ...

chalet was AWESOME! after all the hectic-ness and busy-ness of the past months kuz of huangcheng & stuff, it was really a time to relax, slack, and come back to God :) had lots of fun, and learnt a lot too - my first time leading discussion haha! although i did a super lousy job. playing at least 30 rounds of polar bear, biking in heavy rain, mahjong with tiles that are about 1.5 cm in height, getting annoyed by the guitar-trio's guitaring, learning how to play the E-A-B thing!, eating non-stop, and not to mention frying satay lol! really <3 YF :)

hm, going back a bit more, huangcheng was really an entirely new experience. VT was super fun, xingzheng & piaowu rocks ftw yay! quite sad i guess, that i prob won't be onstage next year for xiemu, kuz of band and all i'm not sure i'm staying, so. thanks everyone who made it possible, for giving me the experience of a lifetime (major drama production lol) :)

meanwhile ... camp commandant this year? it's a huge responsibility, huge step to take, and if i take it up means casting aside a lot of other things, and don't know if i can commit, but deep down inside i think i want to. must praypraypray. YF exco + other people, do pray for me too kay!
